hey, haven't blogged for 2 days.... kae, yeaterday was really packed. well, technically... i had to wake up early to go to hwa chong for a debate competition, my seniors debated... but i woke up late, so i reached like 15 min late, but they start at 9 and asks us to go at 8.15.... anyways, the first one was against MGS, MGS won... but i shall not complain coz they were good.... heehee=] and the next one was against SCGS. the highlight was that the third speaker got angry after POIing her for like 3 times? she went "no thank you madam!" then my seniors decided to continuously POI her, but NOT barack. but like after about 2 more, she went "no thank you and stop baracking me madam!" when we clearly were not. so my seniors continued with the POIs and she almost broke down! like almost cried, what a relieve she didn't... but my caoch said that she would if my seniors continued...that's actually quite mean....so obviously, we won. yay.... the next one was an impromptu debate. against.. guess who? catholic high.... sigh.... i think they realy hate us after we won them in jgs... but they still won this one in the end... although i think we did better, coz i had no idea what they were saying, the first speaker was saying something different than the other 2. and as usual, kristiano spoke like a bullet train.. so i also didn't catch much of what he said... the highlight of this one was Yi Na's (one of my funky seniors) reply. i sat beside michelle and she said yi na looks pissed, and how right was she, yi na came up looking really angry and she spoke in a very furious tone and her reply was just really good. i heard one my my senior's friend from cat high say. "wah, your speaker power arh." heehee. =] it was really cool. =D but we still lost, never mind, my seniors did a great job! =D and by the way, RI and cat high went to the finals and ri won. yay. heehee. =D then i went back and sleep and do hw until really late.
that's why i didn't go to church today, i was just too exhausted.... i feel so so guilty.... sigh.... and i was so bored with history, i went to do the classic IQ test that poped out on my com. and i got 135. it said i was highly intellectual, so i guess the whole system had some error or something. yups. and i took the whole day and i really mean whole day to do 2 history questions.... heehee and i had another sms chat with petras. i think my sms bill is going to burst, coz we chat with sms like chat on msn one, so i used lots of smses.... i'm so dead will my mom ses the bill.... nevermind, i'll be strong and face reality.. haha =D and chia lynn came back today! yay. i shall see her this friday.
oh and i have this group of debate friends that are all from dif. schools. there are 4 of us, we met in the u14 workshop and are really close since then. there's me. duh, then there's claire from st nicks, charlene from mgs and tinnapop from cat. high, yup, the only guy. there was another girl in our group, but she left too fast, so we lost contact. so sad...anyways, back to the topic, the 3 girls, us, wanted to surprise tinnapop on his birthday this tues, but we all got training on that day, to we set on mon, but in the end char couldn't make it, the the other days also cannot, so we had to just work without char, but thats really sad! ok anyways, in the end we told him, coz we actually arranged other debater from cat. high to drag him to j8, but in the end we not sure whether he was in good terms with him, so we just told him... he was ... eh... touched. and claire bought him the present, i'll buy the cake tomorrow. i actually gave him a test tube thing with his name to confirm that it was his b'dae and on a paper i wrote happy 14th b'dae, but guess what? his 17!!! so yup, i was really lao qui... and i'm thinking of like arranging with the place that we are eating in to kinda dim the lights and we bring in the cake, but i guess that would be really hard to achieve. so i shall go there earlier tomorrow to check the place out... kaes, i shall go to sleep, really tired... and this week's sabaticals week! yay! play week! =D
